Choosing the venue according to the time of year, number of guests, and budget is very important: it is possible to host a shower in your backyard or living room if the guest list is short but if not, you should rent a venue, hotel room or a restaurant.

 

 

Guests should receive their invites about six weeks before the shower. For a casual shower, an email invitation is perfectly fine. If you’re hosting a more formal shower, go with a paper invite.
