Penelope and Lorenzo have always dreamed about having their destination wedding in Italy and they were looking for a true castle as their fairytale venue: that is why they chose the Odescalchi Castle near Rome. The Castle is one of the most evocative and most important Renaissance Castles in Europe, with its majestic gardens, the magnificent and suggestive courtyards and the fascinating rooms full of history. The perfect place for a luxury destination wedding in Italy.
Sanda Pandza Events have designed for Penelope and Lorenzo a total white orchid wedding with so many beautiful details.
The religious ceremony took place inside the Vatican, at the beautiful and intimate church of Saint Anna. Penelope had her makeup at Palazzo Dama, a 5-star luxury hotel in the heart of Rome. She looked beautiful in her Elie Saab’s bridal dress.
After the ceremony, the guests travelled to Bracciano and were welcomed by the surprising and impressive medieval flag show at the entrance of the Odescalchi Castle. The aperitifs were served inside the ancient Pozzo Hall while the bride and groom were taking the photos with the great photographer Jules Bower on the towers of the Castle.
The seated dinner was set up inside the Caesar’s Hall with round tables decorated with orchid floral arrangements, made by floral designer Andrea Patrizi. A touching speeches of their lovely family members created a true magic during 3 courses dinner, served by Whitericevimenti catering.
The wedding cake cut was done inside the majestic Court of Honor with the amazing fireworks around the arches of the ancient Loggia of the Castle. The after party with a delicious and beautiful sweet buffet were held inside the Armory hall where all guests enjoyed the incredible cocktails served by Offside Events and danced until late at night.
